Charles Pointe Hospitality has named Steve Ludwig as Director of Operations, Sales and Marketing, as well as General Manager of the Bridgeport Conference Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia. In his new role, Ludwig will be providing oversight and support for all operations, sales and marketing for the Bridgeport Conference Center, the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bridgeport and Mia Margherita Coal Fired Pizzeria.
Ludwig is a native of Ripley, West Virginia and a graduate of West Virginia University. He began his career in hospitality at the Charleston Marriott Town Center. He has served in leadership roles for Marriott International, Red Lion Hotels and Doubletree Hotels as well as a private hospitality management company. His journey included assignments in North Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, California, Washington and Oklahoma. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia.

Steve resides in Bridgeport with his wife, Vikki – who works as a talent acquisition specialist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation – and their two young dachshunds, Angus and Keely.
